In 2024 El Milhas 009 was found by gold prospectors — which is apt as this meteorite is indeed otherworldly “gold”. El Milhas 009 is not just a bencubbenite but the only anomalous bencubbenite on record, and with a TKW of only 2.19 kg there is precious little available to the collector.
